Info-
Everyone deserves customized spaces and unique and special materials, finishes and furnishings. Interiors that work spatially better and that are aesthetically harmonious enhance everyday life. Art, nature, history and culture -- they all inspire me. But my clients inspire me the most.
With over a decade of experience working in the NYC metro region for two corporate interiors architectural firms, an established residential interior design firm, and as a co-founder of a start-up boutique interior design partnership, I enjoy developing a warm, down-to-earth and professional rapport with my clients. In working with architects, contractors and other collaborators, too, my view is that kindness, patience and creativity -- integrity plus advocating for my clients -- all contribute to trust, good communication, efficiency and problem-solving.
An allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, I serve on the Finance Committee of Manitoga/The Russel Wright Design Center, where I'm currently a Design Circle member. With a degree in interior design from Parsons The New School for Design with honors and an MBA from Columbia University, I previously worked in the securities industry and in historical interiors research.
When not designing interiors, you can find me: hunting for new design resources and artisans to work with, traveling here and abroad (pre-pandemic), visiting museums, and (always): hiking, drawing, painting, cooking, gardening and often just curling up with a good book.
